Registration for Focus on Nature Camp will open up in the new year.
Hello!
The Focus on Nature camp season is over for the year! Please subscribe below if you want to get more information when camps open up again.
Guelph
Again this year, we will provide March Break camp opportunities and 5 weeks of summer camp at the Guelph Arboretum. We encourage campers to be visual artists, see the beauty in the details of nature, and learn how to capture it with their cameras.
Waterloo
In Sponsorship with the Royal Canadian Legion of Waterloo, we will provide 3 weeks of summer camp. Funding help is available for families in need. Click here to apply for financial assistance.
Cambridge
In partnership with the City of Cambridge, we will provide summer camp at the Hespeler Arena. Registration will open in the spring on the City’s website. Just search for “Focus on Nature Camp”.
Hamilton
We are excited to be returning to the Battlefield House Museum and Park National Historic Site for 2026.
Feel free to check out our registration and cancellation policy before signing up.
Financial Assistance
This year, Focus on Nature is excited to announce that, thanks to generous donors, the Hamilton Community Foundation Hamilton Spectator Summer Camp Fund, and The Waterloo Region Record - Lyle S. Hallman Foundation Kids to Camp Fund, we are able to offer free or discounted camp spots to families in need of financial assistance! This funding is on a first-come, first-served basis, and we have a limited number of free and discounted spots available, so make sure you apply before it’s too late.
Hurray for camp at the Guelph Arboretum!

“My name is Cale, and you just got a donation for $150 from my Mom. The donation is from me to thank you for photography camps, preserving nature, and having a place like city hall for photographers my age to show their work.
I made a calendar of my photography to sell. I sold 24 calendars. Some of the pictures were from when I was at the Focus On Nature camps. I wanted to give back to the program. .”
