The Solution: The Best Nature and Photography Summer Camp!
Hello!
Focus on Nature is a registered charity operating in Southern Ontario that inspires young people to explore and connect with nature through photography. We conduct workshops in schools and day camps in the summer and during March Break. We envision a world where our connections to nature create a healthy, flourishing planet. We see a critical role for the arts in fostering these connections.
Focus on Nature is pleased to offer its popular camp program in several locations that provide safe and exciting venues for young photographers to explore the natural world! We encourage campers to be visual artists, see the beauty in the details of nature, and learn how to capture it with their cameras.
Locations:
- Guelph Registration is still open for 2025!
- Waterloo Registration is still open for 2025!
- Cambridge Registration is still open for 2025!

Camp hours: 9:00 am - 3:30 pm.
Early dropoff and late pickup: 8 am-5 pm ($5 per half hour)
Camp fee: $240-300/week
Camper age: 8 to 12 (at the time of camp)
Our camps are a wonderful opportunity for budding photographers to develop their skills while exploring all the natural beauty Ontario has to offer!
Campers will spend time outdoors each day on guided photo walks, playing outdoor games, and other nature activities. Campers will also learn how to edit their images, create a slideshow, and take it all home when camp is over.
Each camper will be provided with their own camera and a laptop for photo editing. They may bring their own camera if they are familiar with its use. They should also bring a cleared USB memory stick to save and take home their best photos.
For health and safety, all equipment will be sanitized before use. Our camp staff have completed a Police Records Check for Vulnerable Sector. Camps are limited to 25 campers per day.
We look forward to helping your child find new connections to nature through photography!
Thank you,
The Focus on Nature Team
