Looking for a Memorable, Nature-Inspired Camp Experience?

Registration for Focus on Nature Summer Camp for the 2026 season in Halton is now open!

Focus on Nature is a registered charity offering youth the chance to explore the outdoors through photography. Our day camps at Bronte Creek Provincial Park let young artists observe, capture, and celebrate the natural world—combining creativity with environmental appreciation.

We're excited to offer one week of Summer Camp this year in Oakville - now’s the time to register before spots fill up!

Camp Week:

  • July 27 to 31

Camp Hours: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Extended Care: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm ($5 per half-hour, per day)

Fees: $325 – $425 per week

Ages: 8 to 12 years (at the time of camp)

What to Expect

Participants will spend each day on guided photo walks, enjoy outdoor games, and engage in nature-themed activities led by staff. They'll also learn how to edit their images, create a slideshow, and take these memories home.

Every camper receives a camera and laptop for editing. Familiar with your own camera? Feel free to bring it! Bring along a cleared USB stick too—to save and keep your favorite images. This is a fully outdoor camp and will be taking place at the 9-D pavilion at Bronte Creek Provincial Park in Oakville.

Safety and Staff

Our camp is thoughtfully designed with care. Equipment is thoroughly cleaned before use, and all staff have passed a Police Records Check (Vulnerable Sector). Daily attendance is capped at 25 campers to ensure a supportive, attentive environment.

Once registered, you'll receive an email confirmation. If you don’t see it in your inbox, please check your spam folder. We’ll also follow up one week before camp with all the final details.
