Registration for Focus on Nature’s 2025 March Break Camps will open in January 2025!
March Break Camp
Hello!
Our camps are a wonderful opportunity for budding photographers to develop their skills while exploring all the natural beauty the Guelph Arboretum has to offer!
Campers will spend time outdoors each day on guided photo walks, playing outdoor games, and other nature activities with an Arboretum Naturalist. Campers will also learn how to edit their images, create a slideshow and, take it all home when camp is over.
Each camper will be provided with their own camera and a laptop for photo editing. They may bring their own camera if they are familiar with its use. They should also bring a cleared USB memory stick to save and take home their best photos.
Our Advanced Photography session on Friday will go into more detail about exposure, good composition, and other creative camera skills. Prior experience at a Focus on Nature camp or workshop is required to participate.
For health and safety, all equipment will be sanitized before use. Our camp staff have completed a Police Records Check for Vulnerable Sector. Camps are limited to 24 campers per day.
A confirmation email will be sent after registration (check your spam folder if you don’t receive it!) Further details will also be sent by email one week before camp starts.
We look forward to helping your child find new connections to nature through photography!
Thank you,
The Focus on Nature Team
PS: Please let others, who might enjoy our camp, know about this opportunity.
